Installation and Repair We offer a unique combination of skilled industrial electricians, technicians and sound engineering judgment to make sure that your equipment is installed properly, has the proper lifetime maintenance, and is repaired quickly and efficiently.We have a large, local repair shop to handle many jobs. We inventory parts and supplies in order to handle upgrades and repairs in planned and emergency situations. It was during maintenance testing of a General Electric "AK" type circuit breakers from a University in New York that 3C discovered that two breakers did not operate / trip during the primary current tests. The customer asked us to refurbish/retrofit the breakers with new AC Pro micro-controller based trip units from Utility Relay Company to replace the old faulty series overcurrent devices. This is a service 3C has provided to customers for many years. Once in our repair shop, the breakers were disassembled, visually inspected, cleaned and lubricated. The circuit breakers were then reassembled iwth the new solid state trip units and current transformers and functionally operated. The breakers were tested for insullation resistance, primary current injection, and contact resistance. All test results were satisfactory.
