Three-C Co-Sponsors Maintenance and Repair Seminar February 2, 2010.. Farmington, NH - Three-C Electrical, Energy Resources Group and OASIS Alignment sponsored a Maintenance and Repair Seminar for their clients. The event offered two seminar tracks, one in electrical and mechanical, along with industry vendors, product demonstrations, and an alternative energy exhibit. Dr. Fredi Jakob was among the expert speakers. His presentation on Oil Analysis explained the benefits of oil testing to predict potential equipment problems. Dr. Jakob received his Ph.D. at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, in 1961. He is professor emeritus of analytical chemistry at California State University, Sacramento and is considered one of the founding fathers of Dissolved Gas Analysis. Dr. Jakob was the founder and Laboratory Director of Analytical ChemTech International, Inc. (ACTI), which is now a wholly owned subsidiary of WEIDMANN. Dr. Jakob is currently the Chairperson of IEEE C57.139 the development of an LTC Gas Guide. Attendees were able to meet with industry experts, keep up-to-date on current trends and network with peers in power plants, large industrials and the pulp and paper industry. Three-C will continue to educational opportunities for our clients.
