Field Services Technicians
Field Services Technicians perform day to day field work/activities and office duties related to the operations of the Field Services Group. Duties include acceptance and maintenance testing of low, medium and high voltage electrical equipment and apparatus to specified industry standards; data collection and reports; equipment repairs and modifications; control wiring and control troubleshooting, metering and associated instrumentation functions; electrical one-line and three-line diagrams; system surveys; and specialized construction services, as required. ASEE, AET, CDL or journeymen electrician license a plus. Position requires travel. Must have valid driver's license and must be able to obtain a valid DOT medical certificate. Experience in the power systems industry a plus.
Massachusetts:
Experienced Field Services Technicians
We are looking for experienced Field Services Technicians to perform day to day field work/activities related to the operations of the Field Services Group. Duties include acceptance and maintenance testing of low, medium and high voltage electrical equipment and apparatus to specified industry standards; control wiring and control troubleshooting, metering and associated instrumentation functions; electrical one-line and three-line diagrams; system surveys; and specialized construction services, as required. Positions require travel within the New England states. Important criteria for this position are: quality workmanship, pride in work performance, safety first attitude, team work ethic, company loyalty and ensuring customer satisfaction. We require a can-do, motivated person with the ability to work both independently and as a team player. The candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively both written and oral.
Field Service Technicians must have a minimum of 3-5 years experience performing activities relative to the position is required. An Associates Degree in electrical engineering a plus. Candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral modes. Experience in the power systems industry a plus. Must have valid driver's license and must be able to obtain a valid DOT medical certificate. This position requires some travel through the New England states.
Project Manager
This position manages assigned projects from project set up and execution to closeout and customer follow-up. The Project Manager coordinates and plans all events relative to the customer, labor, subcontractors, vendors, materials, equipment and paperwork and makes site visits as needed. The Project Manager works closely with the field staff in order to execute the project according to proposal, budget and schedule. This position is responsible for the production of all reporting including the accuracy of data, findings, remarks and recommendations. The Project Manager will work closely with Sales Engineers in reviewing proposals, pricing details, project requirements and will partner with the Sales Group as part of the customer account management team.
Educational requirements include a BSEE and a minimum of five years experience performing activities relative to the position. This position requires extensive knowledge of the electrical and power industry including experience with medium and high voltage equipment. Experience with electrical testing techniques is a plus. Ideal candidates will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, enjoy working in a fast-paced professional environment and be able to effectively manage multiple projects. Candidates must be comfortable working with customers and directing field operations assigned to a project.
Relay Field Engineer/Technician
Three-C is seeking an experienced, qualified Relay Field Engineer/Technician. Major duties include the programming, calibration, and testing of various relays and protection and control systems. Must have experience with automated testing of multi-function relays such as Schweitzer and GE UR. Duties include: substation and generation plant commissioning, acceptance and maintenance testing of high, medium, and low voltage relay protection and control systems. Ability to analyze test results and produce reports and recommendations is important.
Position requires some travel through the New England states and emergency response. Qualified applicants should have 5-10 years’ exp. in the power distribution industry with directly relevant relay experience. Computer skills and ability to communicate effectively both written and orally are required.
