Job Opportunities at Three-C Electrical

Positions Available:

Maine:

Field Services Technicians
Field Services Technicians perform day to day field work/activities and office duties related to the operations of the Field Services Group. Duties include acceptance and maintenance testing of low, medium and high voltage electrical equipment and apparatus to specified industry standards; data collection and reports; equipment repairs and modifications; control wiring and control troubleshooting, metering and associated instrumentation functions; electrical one-line and three-line diagrams; system surveys; and specialized construction services, as required. ASEE, AET, CDL or journeymen electrician license a plus. Position requires travel. Must have valid driver's license and must be able to obtain a valid DOT medical certificate. Experience in the power systems industry a plus.

Massachusetts:

Experienced Field Services Technicians
Field Services Technicians perform day to day field work/activities related to the operations of the Field Services Group. Duties include acceptance and maintenance testing of low, medium and high voltage electrical equipment and apparatus to specified industry standards; control wiring and control troubleshooting, metering and associated instrumentation functions; electrical one-line and three-line diagrams; system surveys; and specialized construction services, as required. Positions require travel within the New England states. Important criteria for this position are: quality workmasnship, pride in work performance, safety first attitude, team work ethic, company loyalty and ensuring customer satisfaction. We require a can-do, motivated person with the ability to work both independently and as a team player. The candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively both written and oral
A minimum of 3-5 years experience performing activities relative to the position is required. An Associates Degree in electrical engineering a plus. Candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral modes. Experience in the power systems industry a plus. Must have valid driver's license and must be able to obtain a valid DOT medical certificate. This position requires some travel through the New England states.

Project Engineer(s)
We are seeking experienced project engineers to provide electrical engineering expertise on power systems to diverse Utility & Power Plant Customers of an electric power systems service company. Interface with customers & provide technical customer service, from individual problem solving to providing off-site Plant Engineer support. The candidate(s) will apply knowledge of short circuit, Arc & coordination studies, Relay Settings Calculations & Testing, Designing, Testing & Commissioning of Control & Protection Systems, Power Quality & Fault Analysis. Technical writing capacity a must. The position(s) requires a Bachelor's in E.E. or equivalent plus 5 year engineering experience to include medium & high voltage with Utility and Generation backgrounds.

Inside Sales Estimator (Part-time or Full-time)
We are seeking a creative and adaptive candidate to join our team.  Ideal candidates will have electrical power and heavy industrial experience.  The ideal candidate should be able to review information, identify job requirements and provide an accurate cost estimate for the proposed repair, modification and or testing services. Experience on medium and high voltage systems required.  Specific responsibilities include working with Sales Representative and customers to assess job requirements, develop cost budgets and prepare proposals.

Educational requirements include an AS degree in a technical subject or equivalent work experience.  Candidates should have at least three years experience in the power industry field including a general understanding of electrical testing and associated processes.  Candidates should be PC proficient, and knowledge of computer based estimating software (especially Con-Est), would be a plus.  Additional necessary skills are excellent verbal communication, the ability to work in a team or independent mode, detail orientation and comfortable working directly with customers.

Technical Sales Representative
This position is responsible for Sales and Customer Account functions.  Working with the Customer Service Team the candidate will communicate with existing and prospective customers to analyze problems, define solutions and develop job requirements.  The candidate will be responsible for development of job take-off’s, estimating and pricing, and proposal issuance. The candidate will also assist the Project Manager(s) in project planning, start-up and project reviews.

The ability to communicate professionally with customers to service their needs, develop relationships, identify potential projects and convert proposals to booked jobs is an important requirement for this position. Candidate must have a comprehensive base of experience with electrical power systems including medium and high voltage applications. Knowledge of electrical testing procedures preferred. Qualified candidates should have a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience (Other combinations of education and experience will be considered).
